Cirelli has a bad contract. Not gonna be movesble. After getting McDonagh the real hope to sign stammer is that they go for term and if he retires it’s when the team is in full rebuild mode anyway and then deal with the recapture

Edited May 21 at 10:43 p.m.. Reason: 1x2.6mil is not a boat anchor moron. Nevertheless he's hot garbage.
There's no getting rid of boat anchor Jeannot, especially not to an aspiring contender. TB is gonna have to call the Sharks and be prepared to pay THEM if you wanna get Jeannot off the team lol.

Oh **** just double-checked my bad.

Thought he was signed for eternity but I think I got the amount of years he was signed for mixed with the amount of draft picks he was traded for. Not gonna lie his current contract is still a massive overpayment for what is effectively a 4th liner/part-time healthy scratch. But yeah that one is on me.

Anyone thinking Cirelli has a "bad contract" is clueless he's gotten Selke votes every year he's been in the league and finished between 4-9 in the voting also just scored 35 goals 6.2 locked up through his prime "bad contract . Total A$$ clown statement.

I’m thinking Buffalo would ask if there’s any way to swap Kulich for something, but would seriously consider this even if they swayed no.

Agreed he isn't a bad contract but when has Cirelli scored 35 goals

20 goals 45 points at 6.2 million isn't appealing by any means.

Those are 3C numbers man.
The stats the years prior aren't much better either, those are like career highs.

He's definitely getting paid more than the production.

I'm not saying it's per say a bad contract..... but if they have to move cap out it's easy to see why he would be the guy that gets moved.

I think Buffalo takes that deal, Cirelli fits what they need perfectly. Could probably get a condition on that 2nd to turn it into a 1st if they win a round

I would love for the Pens to get Jeannot on the cheap. He has the skill to play on the 3rd line. Problem is we would need a new coach since our current one is anti-physicality.
