He does not take faceoffs is not a center (a position more valuable than winger) Congrats he's cheaper its not surprising that you don't know the value of a player Show me 1 trade that someone similar to him got more than a 3rd round pick
I already did before but you can’t read. He’s a younger Barbeshev only bigger and faster…and yes he has played center before also

Toropchenko had 14 goals 21 pts this past season. Colorado traded a 2nd for Lars Eller in 2023. He had 10 G 23 pts that year. Torpo > Eller. Ottawa traded Connor Brown for a 2nd. He had 12 points with Edmonton this year. Torpo > Brown. Also as NOTED stated earlier, Pitt traded a 1st for Reaves. And since I know you’ll complain, Eller had no points in 7 playoff games with COL, Brown has 1 in 6 with EDM and he’s been mostly scratched. Torpo has 2 pts in 12 career playoff games and he’d have more this year with his role on the team. If STL wanted to they could get a 2nd or possibly a Barbashev-like return.

Reaves was a downgrade not a 1st round pick try again
Ryan reaves
2nd round pick
for
Oskar Sundqvist
1st round pick
Downgrade??? Sundqvist was a key part of the Blues winning the cup and they moved up 20 spots in the draft...it's almost like your hockey knowledge is non-existent yet you try to act like you're really smart...shocker

let me make it easier for you
They did not trade a 1st round pick for Reaves they downgraded a 1st round pick to a 2nd round pick as compensation for the difference between Reaves and Sundqvist.
Unlike you I do not need to try to insult other people. "Insults are the arguments employed by those who are in the wrong."
So I will ask again Any example where a 4th liner gets a 1st round pick?

Again -
Barbeshev was a 4th line player when the Blues won the cup. He was basically the same age as Toropchenko at the time. (Both play up and down the line-up - not just 4th line. Barbeshev was traded for a 1st.

He was traded for a former 1st round pick in ZACH DEAN not a 1st round pick. Also Barbeshev was older had a 26G /60pts season the season before he was traded clearly more valuable than Torp

I understand comprehension is hard…. Toropchenko is on pace to be like Barbeshev. So value for Blues to trade him would be high.
Also the Leafs traded a first for Nick Foligno who was basically a fourth line player production wise at the time
