Solid ideas, I think a bit of an over pay for Brodie but good overall smile

Smith is someone I could see NSH adding for cheap at the deadline (like they did with Zucker and Beauvillier), but I'd pass on this offer.

- I don't think Bemström is retained. Didn't show much with his time in Pittsburgh.
- Brodie is trending in the wrong direction performance wise. Have to pass on him,
- Teräväinen will be overpaid. I think Dubas is not going to give aging forwards term.

- I think Bemstrom is going to be retained, but will likely spend most of his time in Wilkes-Barre. Dubas paid a 6th Rounder for him, and I think he's gonna try to squeeze some more out of him, no matter what level he ends up playing at.
- It's going to be hard to find a stay-at-home defenseman, at a reasonable cap hit, who's young, and you don't have to give up assets for. Yes, he's older and declining, but I don't think there are a ton of options to be honest with ya.
- Once again, there aren't many free agents, if any, who can put up 30 goals. Options are very limited. Guentzel would be great, but unlikely. Stamkos looks more promising than before, but it's still a long shot, and he 34. I like DeBrusk, he's younger than most of the others on the market, he can put up 25-27, probably cheaper than Teravainen, but I don't know if he has what it takes to play with Sid.

I don't see anything wrong with the Teräväinen signing. I think PIT might have to overpay to get him to be honest.

The NSH trade though, why?
You retain 50% only to get nothing but a worse player.
You might as well just keep Smith. His contract ends so whatever.

What about Nikita Zadorov instead of Brodin? Zadorov is probably more expensive, but younger.
