Too much for a guy you guys signed last year. Devils are better off spending those assets elsewhere.

I don't see NSH being interested in moving him. Glass would likely get shipped out first.

If they were to trade him, I think a 2nd and decent prospect would be in the ballpark. It's the retention that would be the biggest hiccup. NSH only has one retention spot left, and a lot of dead cap for the next couple seasons.

Landy was supposed to be back this playoffs if the Avs had progressed so have to think he'll start the season bar a setback.

He's too good to just cut ties with. give the summer to let the feelings die down and when he comes back when he's ready and scores like he was the boys won't care about the past. I think we had bigger issues than just nichuskin leaving, no one was playing on their top game outside geo in the dallas series. The biggest thing for me is landy, this team needs a leader and him constantly saying he's still going to come back is more of a distraction at this point than hope.

He left the team high and dry in two straight years wasting and MVP caliber season from MacKinnon. His actions caused the team to implode in game 4 the pivotal game that sealed their fate. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. In any other career he’d be gone. I hope he gets well for his family and himself and playing hockey is secondary but you can’t bring him back.
