This is both teams trading one problem for another.

Makes some sense on Nashville's end if they can be a lot more competitive, but they lack for star power, and will not have much better a result than they had last year if they make this trade.

Carolina would finally have goaltending, but then they would sorely miss Slavin's reliability... and would still lack for star power, themselves.
