Dreger said on Twitter that Max Domi isn't taking anything less than $5,000,000 per long term to remain in Toronto.

For that offer Steven Stamkos remains in Tampa.

Brandon Montour is asking for 8 x $7,500,000 to remain here in Florida he's not taking less in high tax Toronto.

That offer isn't even in the ballpark for Mitchell Marner, And he wants to remain close to home. So far chance he's waiving his NMC for Utah.

And John Tavares isn't waiving his NMC for Montreal.

Sorry Colton Parayko isn't from Ontario but Alberta and according to Friedman he only waives for either Calgary of Edmonton to be close to home.

Gotta say, this ain't it.

1. Why on earth would Montreal take on an extra $8 million in cap space? Savard has some trade value. Tavares contract is an albatross. As much as we all love JT, we are at a point that is going to take a serious asset to move. And frankly, JT does nothing for the Habs. Nothing. Not remotely close to what Hughes has been doing for the last 3 years.

2. Vegas needs another D like a hole in the head. They have 8 NHL caliber D on that roster, so Liligren makes zero sense.

3. The Utah deal is interesting, I will give you that. Ingram has always has the pedigre, but I need to see another season like last before I would say his demons are behind him. Crouse is a given. The 1st is a given. If including Roberston, I would say that maybe missing soemthing.

4. That Blues deal I would never do. Parayko maybe sexy now, but I don't see that contract aging well..... at all. A steep price to pay when the UFA market is flush with RD.... Pesce, Roy, Walker...... and all would command that $6 million tag.

I would not call Dredger that best source for that sort of info..... but let's face it..... I wouldn't suggest he is wrong either lol. Just don't see a world where he gets that money. On most teams he is a 3rd liner.

The rest of this is bang on. 👏👏👏👏

If you truly believe that, you'll be shocked come trade deadline.
Are you willing to bet your reputation on the fact that Savard will not bring in ANY assets?

He still had term on his deal, so they kept him because of his value.
Dude... come on... you know about this.
Pending UFAs at the deadline.
Cheers mate, smile smile

except that term makes it worse when you have an awful contract and are a bad hockey player, so that kinda removes that value part you're talking about. And I was referencing how Habs fans are convinced he's gonna get them a 1st plus every single year, then he doesnt because he's bad and on a bad contract, and then they say "well he's here to teach the rookies because he's such a good leader man" and then next year it starts all over.
He sucks, his contract sucks and no one wants him

You were screaming and laughing at Habs fans when they were sayinh Monahan was going to get a 1st.
And obviously, you never apologized...
you're a Habs hater.
Habs did not want to trade Savard. Fact.
He would have gotten a 2nd round pick at the deadline: fact.
His contract is not horrendous (Tavares, anyone?)

I know you're trying to just insult your way out of this. You have zero meta cognition, so you're locked in an echo chamber.

Fine, he sucks, his contract sucks, and no one wants him. You'Re right my man.
You know hockey well.
I know you hate the Habs - you hate Montreal.

I'm just glad I'm not you. It must suck being full of hate.

Have a nice day.

You're right though. You'Re right.
Savard sucks ok?
He has a bad contract.

Lilegren is 100 times better. All Leafs are 100 times better than all Habs. You're right.

You know hockey.

Savard will NEVER get ANYTHING at the deadline - according to you.

We'll see the facts.

And Leafs are not the joke of the NHL.
They are incredible in the playoffs!

Have a great day smile

It is really really funny that you are literally doubling down on what i said habs fans do with Savard every year.
Cant wait till next deadline to hear it all again.
