Hawks probably decline. Don't see a 2nd and Tuch as being enough to take those last 3 seasons of Anderson.

Newhook was on a 50 point pace last season … basically the same as Necas
By the time Habs are contenders, Laine will be UFA and gone

    One makes the other Redundant
I wouldnt split up our 1st Top Line with Elite Skill in 3-4 decades given their chemistry mostly.
i dont mind either players but would rather Reunite Caufield with his former USNDTP Captain Farabee and at multiple levels as a teammate
Same with Cayden Primeau and Sean Farrell who played with him at multiple levels as well.

From many POV's the cost would be more reasonable and PHI is more likely to be interested in a Defensman than CAR
CAR thinks they'll resign most of their D and if they do take a D they want and upgrade not a project.
CBJ i can live with but not quite sure i ultimately want Laine who struggles on and off ice. Its not just something like Alcoholism or Substance Abuse which people have struggled with for sure but nothing like Mental Health and to take time off entering a NHLPA Players Assistance Program is beyond what Drouin did sitting on LTIR but still working with the team. Laine just outright bailed on the team to focus on personal issues which i get is sometimes needed 100%. But if im paying that much i want a Mentally strong players who can Handle MTL and the Circus that goes with it is what im getting at with my point above

Not trying to knock Laine , its just MTL is MTL
Necas on the other hand i think might be able to handle it.
But Ultimately i think Farabee fits like a glove

CHI is gonna need quite a bit more to take Anderson.
