Henrique isn't a need if Hawks sign those other 3 UFA forwards. AA isn't getting buried in Rockford and Reichel (1) isn't a C anymore and (2) isn't getting buried on the 4th line. Signing 3 UFA forwards probably means Nazar plays in Rockford next season.

Makes sense. I guess Reichel could slot in with Monahan and Marchy or juice the bottom 6 on the wing. AA to the 4th or extra forward it is...

Six UFA signings is too much. They're not trying to go to the playoffs, they're trying to improve. They'll likely still pick in later part of top 10 (until of course they win the lottery again thanks to Uncle Gary). I think at MOST Hawks get a winger, a center, an RD, and a backup goalie.

If I were Kyle Davidson, Demidov and Emery would be EXACTLY who I am targeting, barring any other players dropping that are to good to pass on.

I think hawks go in on DEMIDOV and then best player at 18 EMERY is a reach at 18 . Most drafts have Emery anywhere from 28 to 45 . DAVIDSON has an idea in his head otherwise he would not have moved up i think its another forward or center at 18 . Hawks have decent quality size and depth on D already in the pipeline they need that upfront . So i think its another forward at 18 unless one of the top 5 men in the draft fall to 18 .At 18 i am thinking he is targeting BASHA , SENNECKE,HAGE ,. Chances are EMERY at 34 th overall

Sure. I'm not necessarily saying Emery at 18, just that I would target him somewhere in the late 1st to the early 2nd round. Supposedly CHI is very interested in Boisvert, which, personally, I wouldn't like at 18, but it wouldn't be a crazy reach. Sennecke is probably going much higher. Basha should be available in the 2nd round. Hage would be a good pick in that range and I personally like him more than Boisvert. Chernyshov might be may favorite in that 18 range, though, unless Sennecke, Yakemchuk or someone else drops that far who is too good to pass up. But yeah, for RD, if Emery isn't there at 34, I still like Badinka, Brunicke, Kleber, Danford, Gill, and Marelli quite a bit, a list which should range from the late 1st to the early 3rd. BPA is the way to go, though. I don't mind minor reaches to address needs, but nothing crazy.
