Better chance of you playing for the Leafs than Marner waiving for Buffalo or for the Leafs trading him in division 🤦🏻

Why not?
BUF is the ARZ of the East
The same rules dont apply due to poor ownership and never ending rebuilds as such.
It'll take relocation for them to get it together as Stars only Leave BUF and Franchise Centers do it winning Cups right after proving its not just bad luck.

BUF is beautiful too so its a shame.
Plus they're pretty nice and as close to a polite American you're going to find outside rural more country oriented states along the boarder
Personally i'd live in BUF over DET 10/10 even though i think DET is the better Franchise and Teams.
But if winning a cup is your focus then like Dominik Hasek you might need to take the risk as you wont win by staying in BUF.
They touch greatness and develop it but it always leaves to win titles.

Marner would be a UFA a year after anyways
I could think of worse place to Vacation for a year while playing hockey until i sign my next contact if im Marner

Even if Stamkos Leaves TB ( HIGHLY HIGHLY UNLIKELY) The last place he ends up is Toronto. He realized what a nightmare playing in Toronto would be. When he ran Back to TB After being offered way more money with all the endorsements CEOs who were at the meeting guaranteed him.Ceo For Canadian tire was part of the sales pitch.

The City is a City but its on the Water and looks at my Beautiful Country hahaha
But travel outside the city in any direction and its beautiful open land with nature galore.
Thats kind of a Luxury most places along the boarders in USA dont have for 20-30 years now

Highly likely hance adding the full 6.75m contract of Mcdonugh back for Leadership
Only way to afford Stamkos and have over 20 skaters is if a Big Core Piece Contract is traded like Sergachev,Kucherov,Point or Vasilevsky.
Even if they kept everyone re-adding Mcdonugh took them from about 5-6m reasonably free'd for Stamkos to barely able to afford a 950k 1 year deal

McDonugh was the team getting ahead of things bringing back a core leader from their 2 cup runs to replace one leaving

No it's not that a complete fallacy. They dump Jeannot Sheary and go with rookies and league minimum vets run a 22 man roster. Brisebois didn't bring a 34 yo back to worsen the rest of his defense by trading one of the three amigos

That’s gonna be a “hell no” from the Sabres
1- Tuch is likely to be out Captain
2- as good as Marner is, we can’t/wouldn’t want to bring in a big contract like that
Plus, he isn’t waiving to come here

Pure fantasy dude

Toronto needs to add to the return to Buffalo. The 2024 first round pick is the start. If not, Buffalo declines.

The Jackets are not paying for superflous extended-term players to relieve your cap issues.

No that's a flat out F***ING lie they have to trade Sergachev, Cernak or Cirelli. Kero lying to yourself to make yourself feel smarter than you are Stamkos signs around 5.5(+-) a couple hundred K. And you dump Jeannot and Sheary while going with rookies and league minimum vets 22 man roster

No its Math you cant refute or you simply would instead of acting out.
Your need to act ignorantly with personal attacks says you're punching above your weight calss.
I simply talk facts as Admins are also posters and anonymous.
Ive got busted more then one cause they happen to come across me breaking rules

So when you want to debate im all for it
But i wont be dragged into a situation where i gotta deal with Admins for no reason.
Math isnt hard and anyone who can do it know that signing Early not testing UFA status if is something GMs do often with core players to avoid the distraction of the Media if nothing else.
You only wait to become a UFA if you want more money then your team is willing to give prior to July 1st.

As for "they have to trade Sergachev , Cernak , or Cirelli" . . . then why would Stamkos want to come back?
Lose any of them or any of your core 4 and its game over man

But if Stamkos leaves its no different then MSL passing the torch to Stammer who had his team and his goalie in his era.
He got Healthy in time to join Vasilevsky , Kucherov,Point, Cirelli, Sergachev, and many others some who were traded even
While Stammer took on a Veteran role with Hedman and Mdonugh to guide them

Giving away any of that Core he built is foolish
He can leave for a few years at max contract and come back to TBL later when Kucherov is basically in Stamkos position ready to pass the torch as they go on a run.

But paying Stamkos makes no sense and mark my words Mcdough coming back confirms it
You dont add 6.75m in McDonugh and this isnt really a debate worth having
But by acquiring Stammer it put TBL lightening in a position you're arguing to sacrifice the youth core who will replace the Current Core in order to save Stamkos ?
I think Brisebois passes and Stevie Y gives Stammer a call and a big contract he wants if thats what Stamkos wants.
But all i can speak to is the Math and TBL+McDough =Stamkos gone

You had until you said Stamkos leaves https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/5177927 I never said get rid of any of the young core Sheary and Jeannot aren't that maybe trade Perbix for a pic and bring up Crozier.

By the way the MSL Comparison is garbage. St.Louis was Butt hurt Yzerman at the request of the coaching staff didn't pick him for team Canada and was a whiny little B****. Demanded a trade . Stamkos on the other hand wants no f***ING part of leaving apples to bombs comparison
My proof the coach didn't want him he was a healthy scratch until they had no choice.
