I think Sweeney mis-spoke when he said "secondary scoring", but I think it is clear to the whole world that the Bruins problem is that the only reliable scoring threat is Pasta. They definitely need at least 1 more legit scoring threat in the top 6 as well as someone on Pasta's line who can take some attention off of him. Those don't need to be the same player.
I have to say though, the idea of trading Zacha as part of a Necas deal seems like a bad one. Not only is Zacha still on a much more team-friendly contract for a few more years, but he is a better center than Necas both in his own zone and at the faceoff dot. Necas is certainly a bigger threat to score and make plays in the O-zone, but he can be on the wing to do those things. We don't need both Guentzel and Necas.
