We don't even need him too. We need to trust Poitras and him developing into a 3C or higher

What kind of number do you think DeBrusk is looking for? Would love for Lou to take a look at him if he hits the open market

He’s 19 years old doesn’t hurt to have the depth. Many people believe he starts in providence this year

Yikes okay. Feels like a lot but I guess the cap is going up. Probably a little outside our price range then

Highly highly doubt it. Need him to develop in NHL not dominate AHL. Look at what happened when Lohrei was given real responsibility this year even if it was out of necessity. Pinto deal blocks him for next two years if you are also signing Lindholm.

It’s not about him not being ready it’s about making sure he is healthy. He won’t be able to have a proper training offseason because he needs to spend it rehabbing. Throwing him back to the wolves to risk blowing up his shoulder again is how Josh Norris career has been derailed

I don't really see how AHL vs NHL has a major effect on his health. Pretty sure he is skating again so should have a full offseason. Also then you can bump Zacha to LW where he is more effective.

He never stopped skating he didn’t break his leg he had shoulder surgery. Also less games more time to practice and recover they only play on weekends

It's not. They'd probably consider it for Sway, but definitely not for Ullmark.

Sure but in general why keep a young player who held his own as an NHL center last year in the AHL when center is by far your biggest need. Would be total mismanagement on Sweeny's part.

You name why you’re so confident he doesn’t. You come into every bruins thread thinking your word is the Bible you have for years now. You don Sweeney?

no i just understand this league a bit and can use logic.

the logic here being, they aren't burning two years off his ELC just to stick him in the AHL. If he wasn't an NHL player, he would have been in junior last year. He wasn't. He's an NHL player.
