Horrific Sens deal. Trading a guy they view as part of the core for the most overrated player in the League

Canes need more than a 3rd to be packaged with Farabee. I like Farabee a lot, but Necas is more than a 3rd better.

PHI says hell no on the TK and Sanheim trades.
CAR says hell no on the Necas trade.
Looks like OTT isn't very popular either...

OP, why Fabbri and Oleksiak??

What is his approximate value? I take it you cant/wont pay him. Phi could send the avs first instead but i assume that doesnt change anything

Tk and sanheim dont fit a michkov timeline. Necas and pinto are rfas. I do get how pinto trade is a bit light we should probably send a prospect but they still need to be paid. the players back are to make it easier to take on coots and sanheims contract

We will see. Necas needs to get paid and farabee produced very similar to necas. Theres a talent gap fs but theyre getting value back for a guy they cant pay.

Fair, but sanheim is pretty much a rhd. If he stays hell play on the right side for the flyers but even if he leaves he might be sold as a rhd.

part of the reason laughton is going is bc the sens are reportedly interested in him. I agree hes not good but until we see all or most front offices act based on talent and not "toughness and leadership", I believe a guy like laughton could be overpaid for

I think Sanheim does because of the longevity of Dmen, particularly those who don't play a physical style. I think he'll be fine for the rest of his contract, especially slotting into a 2LD or 3 LD down the line. The decision on TK will come down to his ask and willingness to negotiate, and will probably be the biggest decision the franchise has had about one of it's players since the fateful summer of 2012. I can see it going either way depending on ask, but i expect it to be higher because of the cap rising, and he'd been playing at a discount.

Also, I think your figures on re-signing Zamula, Ginning, and Brink are too high, and Necas way too low if we get him...for the sake of conversation and the Cap math.
EDIT: you can probably half all of Zamula, Ginning, and Brink's totals and dump them right into Pinto's and Necas' contracts.

Yeah cap figures may be a bit off Necas is getting 8 years so he might take it but 500k more aav isnt a big deal. For sanheim I have concerns cuz his calling card is his speed which will fade like a forwards.

Recent reports theyre way off in negotiations. The team isnt playing well and already has a lot of money tied up in stutzle and some in norris. I didnt think theyre gonna pay a 3c the money he wants

RHD = Right Handed Defenseman and if Sanheim was an RHD I'd take this in a heartbeat.

Now Sanheim is an LHD who you said plays a lot on right side. I have no idea, I saw the Flyers play twice last year and I wasn't focusing on Sanheim. Since Detroit traded Hronek they've had an LHD on the right side for the majority of their game and it hasn't really worked out When asked Yzerman said he'd like to add an RHD.There will be a couple of good UFA RHDs and a couple that could be traded, So there will be enough RHDs available this offseason that he won't have to bring in another LHD to play on the right side.

he’s 2C and Stützle is on a bargain contract. it’ll be fine, they’re not trading Pinto for scraps
