I'd entertain it if I'm Tulsky, probably get offered a better deal, but Farabee is a good center piece.

Sabres can’t really bring in a big contract
They’ve got too many ppl to pay after next season to extend Konecny

Sabres will absolutely take that.
They have all the cap space necessary to extend him too.
Love that trade.

Yes, they do.

Nope
No reason for Quinn OR Peterka to sign bridge deals
Same for Byram if they keep him paired w Dahlin
You’re living in a fantasy

Jack Quinn has only played 104 NHL games. He'll be bridged.
Byram didn't play with Dahlin most of the way down the stretch so he's gotta earn it at 2LD with a new partner.
I'd put money on Dahlin and Power staying together because they were excellent at the end of the year.
Peterka will likely get a full extension.
All told that's only like 17M$ in AAV. Plenty of room for a big addition or two.

Konecny brings a passion that the Sabres are frequently missing. There's lots of other guys you can move, I would say don't get too attached to the names. The key is for adams to bring in the right players.

Quinn is gonna have a big year & get a big contract
And the following season, Tuch & Benson & (probably) Levi will get raises
The $$ u think is there just isn’t unless the Cap skyrockets- and it won’t

There’s also a difference between what Adams SHOULD do and what he WILL do

Good lord I agree, he did indicate that he was gonna add some pieces though. Think about what last season looked like- the Sabres would win a game, then they would phone in their next loss from the hotel room. Konecny doesn't seem like a guy to take nights off. Quinn missed a ton of time, and I see a bridge for him. Byram started out hot and then got ice cold playing with jokiharju, he needs to put together a couple dozen solid games before he's gonna break the bank.

love these trades as a whole. i personally dont want marner or necas, but i totally understand why fans do. theyre both great players. i also like how there are parts of all the trades that fan bases are split on. i think thats a mark of a good ACGM. I know people say PHI doesnt trade TK at that price, but i like that one because of the increased likelyhood that we draft a decent C or LW and one of the top 6-7 D-men. nice job all around!

The highest paid salary in 2001 was 11M. Now, its currently 16M. Revenues have increased 300+% during the timeline... cap raises will happen.

I don't like it because Krebs does not move the needle. Kulich or Savoie gets a yes from me. But with some buffalo fans on here saying Krebs and 1st is no good. Seems like they want to keep their prospects forever.

Nope. You're budgeting this team like a club that hasn't been to the playoffs in 13 years.

Ask vegas, tampa, Toronto, about the cap. They are more than fine.

And move Skinner with 3 to 4.5 million retained.

Deal is done.

You're already planning giving benson big money lol. This was my 3rd rated prospect in last years draft, but I'm not concerned about his cap. Geez sab fans, talk about counting your eggs.

Yeah, the Cap will keep going up
But not enough for us to fit new contracts after next year for :
Byram, Quinn & Peterka
And then the following year :
Tuch & Benson (& maybe Levi)

Sabres just can’t bring in a guy like Konecny & pay him
