Kaiden Guhle is horsecrap for an expiring ufa who they probably won’t be able to resign?

So you think Colorado can sign him ? Not sure what your point is. Unless he comes extended - he is not worth the moon….

They only need to be able to add an extra 3M or less to fit him in lol. He's not getting more than MacKinnon and he's already counting against the cap to the tune of 9.25M. And the cap is going up quite a bit this summer, and probably will again next year.

Plus the only other guys that are a priority over him are MacKinnon and Makar, everyone else could and would be moved to make room for Rantanen if they needed to.

This is a very underwhelming offer for a player Colorado has no intention of trading.

Yes, the Avs can sign him, especially with another, albeit smaller, jump for the salary cap. They will find a way to maneuver the money for a Top 10 ppg player.

and if they can't, if you think this is the trade the avs accept you are absolutely loony.

Very marner like logic. Then you end up with holes on d and Georgiev in net… the move is to trade him for young cost controlled stud

The difference is a cup winning, playoffs PPG player buddy.

The cost controlled player is a 22-point Guhle. It’s shocking how little value OP has in Rantanen.

Where is Guhle supposed to get those points in the colorado organization? Loveland?

Maybe he can have a 104 point season with 42 goals plus 14 pts in 11 playoff games in the ECHL.

They don't even need to terminate Nuch and LTIRement Landy, Rants extention is affordable. Most it will be is a 3m bump

I'd probably take Rantanen over Marner, but to be fair Rantanen had a 55 goal season his average is just over 32 goals a season

Easiest no for the Avs. Not even close and they have no need to trade Rants so the premise of the post is completely incorrect to begin with.
