The longer term is always way harder to move.

largely i would agree, but I think as were no longer in a flat cap it should be easier in theory

Dillon and roslovic are probably both getting 4+ million deals especially on that short of term. Zadorov is probably in the 5+ range. Ned is the best UFA goalie so he gets a bit more too

You know what I appreciate about you? You don't hide your bias against the leafs. Being honest is it's own reward. Good day sir, I hope it finds you well.

Leafs take on $22.5M while the Penguins only take on $12.5M? And Jarnkrok is a positive value player as well? This deal is lopsided

That's fine. I left plenty of cap space to increase all three deals as necessary. If they end up needing to pay Ned more they would probably look elsewhere for a backup or promote their top goalie prospect that had a great season in the AHL

Graves still has plenty of potential to return to top 4 form. Typically D take more time to fit in the system anyways.
Can't say the same of the three leafs players. And it is leafs fans that try to dump these three on the pens every single day. So if leafs fans want rid of them so bad how are they all of the sudden positive value?
If you want to keep jarnkrok that is fine. Pens throw in a 4th with graves to balance trade

Graves has a much worse contract than both Kampf and Timmins, and Jarnkrok is a good player for his cap hit. Pens would have to add retention and at least a 1st for the leafs to even consider this

Lol yeah no. Absolutely no chance pens take on multiple cap dumps from the leafs, retain on graves, and give up a first. That is truly hilarious.
Pens don't want the leafs cap dumps. Pens have their own cap problems from bad contracts.
I was just making a post to show what it would take for the pens to take on multiple cap dumps from the leafs.
Hopefully leafs fans stop sending trades every day to dump their bad contracts on the pens while having the pens give up positive assets tears of joy

The cost to dump Graves = top 10 pick
The cost to dump Kampf = Late 1st
    The cost to dump Timmins = A 3rd for a 7th

    Happy?
