A few things here.

1) The Kuemps trade is bad for the Caps. Would prefer not retaining or getting futures back.
2) Alexeyev has proven he is ready to be on that bottom pairing.
3) Iorio looked like he was ready to step in, so I probably would keep one of Jensen or TVR and bring Iorio up. Bear can be mixed in. No need to lock money up on Pesce.
4) Miro will be in the lineup.
5) To make room for Miro we could trade Milano

In order:
I'd go shorter and less money on McM -- don't like going mid-term with all of him, Protas, and Sandin
I like Pesce, would want a number closer to 30m total on Debrusk
Fine moving TVR
Jeannot a good buy-low candidate but would want to give up a bit less
Don't get the obsession with moving Kuemper and this would be doing the Leafs a massive favor
Kaliyev is a good target but I think he can be gotten for less
If you can get a 2nd for him also fine with moving Jensen
I'm not a Broberg fan at all so while I don't mind the idea of moving Dowd for a younger piece I would prefer someone else or waiting until the deadline

Nah, much easier to hide a not great 4th liner than a bad goalie
