There’s no reason for us to add the 2nd

There are way too many pieces, but I don't hate the Sabres deal.

Anaheim needs RW and an impact piece. You want a shiny new 1C, those don't come that cheap when they are this young.

Pieces were interested in would be Foerster, Bonk, Tippett, and this years 1st. We'd require two of those pieces for Zegras, and maybe we toss in a minor asset to balance, but not a major one.

Laughton is a non-starter as far as Im concerned. League-average 30 y/o players needing a new contract don’t interest me at all!

I just wouldn't move pick 13 for pieces like that. Depth pieces, not top of the lineup pieces like you hope to get with 13. Maybe Foerster and FLA 1st for MIN 1st would get me thinking, but anything short of that is an easy no.

I think it’s probably a bit much to expect 12OA + Foerster personally

I completely agree! I would also make that Foerster deal.

I think its funny in every thread every Ducks fan saying the only trade the Ducks would accept involves Foerster. Foerster is a fine player, and I am sure he will be good but not convinced he will be a star, and I watch every single flyers game. His skating still lacks, he has a nice shot and plays the way Torts wants thats why he's been hyped so much. Otherwise he isn't anything spectacular. Farabee and TK will have way better careers overall. Personally I trade Foerster in a second for Zegras. If 12OA moves the needle I still think you do it because players like Zegras don't grow on trees.

Ristolainen is almost as much of a cap dump as Campbell so you can be certain that EDM says no.

That Wild deal actually looks pretty fair. Laughton's cap hit and term make him worth a late first, and Brink is at least worth an early second. It's about what Arizona traded for the Geekie pick, which was around the same spot.

Zegras is overrated IMO, and that trade looks fair to me.

I know everyone's praising the Sabres deal but I wouldn't do that deal if I was Buffalo. #11 could be a stud, and so could Kulich, and I don't think they should dump them just to move on from Skinner's contract.

Really? Cause that deal is horrible from a Minnesota POV.

It’s better than the Geekie-Bystedt trade from 22

The issue is San Jose wanted to build their prospect pool up. Minnesota doesn’t need to do that as they are fairly deep with middle of the lineup prospects. They need higher quality prospects going forward.

Seems like a yes from Buffalo’s fans here
But in real life, they may not wanna move Kulich
And they may not actually be interested in Konecny bc of the contract he’ll demand- they gotta budget their Cap Space to fit in all the contracts they have coming up
