Chicago declines. Not worth taking on $21m in cap to move up 9 spots in the 1st and 7 spots in the 2nd.

Love it, you made every effort to fill the 3c spot, add grit to a painfully soft roster, and add a physical defense first right shot d. The bottom 6 needs a little more skill, I would suggest skipping the Joshua signing, and have Rosen or savoie fill the open winger spot on line 3. They are on elcs, plus I have a suspicion that somebody is gonna throw Joshua 4 per.

Edit- just realized Rosen got moved, so savoie or kulich. I realize kulich is closer to nhl ready, but savoie is going to be a better overall player, and I think he balances out that line better.

Skinner isn't waiving for Chicago. Even if he did, swapping those picks isn't enough to move that much salary and cap hit. Maybe Skinner and the Buffalo 1st for the Isles 2nd, but that's likely as good as it gets.

Cernak isn't available full stop they didn't re-acquired McDonagh to trade Cernak. They re-acquired him to partner with Cernak and be that shutdown pairing.

Yes. You can’t trade Kulich. He’s untouchable

That cernak contract is horrible. He's already taken a step back and it has 7 more years.

He has a ntc as well. No way am I paying a 1st and a top prospect and Krebs for him and a 4th liner.

Take out the 1st & 2nd going to The Sabres & the Hawks might play ball. Even retaining $2 mil means the Hawks would have to pay $7 mil for a guy that is coming off a 24 goal season, come on.
