Description
This team is talented no question, but old and not gritty enough. I hate to use tough, all hockey players are tough (except Marner). NYR needs guys like BT.

I get he disappears at times, but why would the Rangers trade Zibanejad at all, but especially to the Canes? If both Burns and Zibanejad waived, I don’t see a reason for the Canes to not take that.

This entire proposal is just me being a pissed off NYR fan. Don’t take it seriously…not that much at least. I originally thought Zib to Nashville for Fabbro & Nosak

As much as us B's fans seem to be going overboard in seeking Czech players to play alongside of Pasta, I just can't see them trading Freddy in the offseason unless they are completely winning the deal. Freddy is a prototypical Bruin, and I am expecting an extension for him after the UFA frenzy settles down.

Chytil probably needs to go out for a season and prove that he is fully recovered, physically and mentally, from his most recent injuries if you want to get fair value for him. At this point, I wouldn't trade Frederic's contract for Chytil's contract straight up, let alone adding in picks, because you don't really know what you are going to get.

Fox is great but not what Ottawa needs , ask would be something like Lafreniere + Schneider + prospect / pick. BT is not moving unless the offer is too good to refuse.

I know this isn’t particularly serious but it’s just fun to talk about anyways. but yeah I said this once about a Tkachuk - McAvoy trade I saw one time here too, the same thing applies, really. I have a hard time saying yes to any Tkachuk trade, but I have a really hard time saying no to a Sanderson-Fox pairing

of course they would. this absolutely destroys the rangers. sets them back probably about 5-10 years.

They need better defence on the back end. After the stunt he pulled to land in NY I can imagine the **** fit he would have if traded to Ottawa.

deal with that as it comes. he's an elite defensemen. hardest thing to find in the NHL.

Trading Fox for Tkachuk sets them back 5-10 yrs??? Fox is a great player, but trading him will not set any team back 5-10 years. I don’t argue about this stuff cause it’s all for fun, so if you want to try to convince…you’re wasting your time.

thats a good approach to life. "Hey i'm set in my uninformed opinion and won't change my mind."

defensemen are worth more than wingers.
fox is a top five d man. tkachuk is not a top five winger.

this trade is a giant bag of trash.
