Good thing you wouldn't have to worry about it since the Sabres wouldn't consider it

Not a fan. Not a chance buffalo would do that lol. That's truly one of the funniest post I've seen on this site.

“Wouldn’t consider it” is a stretch. If you told me they wouldn’t listen because it’s in-division then I’d understand. But if you’re basing your comment off the talent going to BUF, then the front office wouldn’t be doing their job.

oh ya. not a chance they would move that expensive center that took a pretty big step back last year for a top four d on a great contract, a first, a second, and a prospect.

cmon pal. he's not that special of a player.

Certainly would like to add Carlo. Not at the cost of cozens. There was a discussion to be had before the mittelstadt trade, doesn't matter now.

They wouldn't have traded mitts if they didn't think cozens wasn't the guy to lead this team. There's no way they trade him for another dman since we would weaken the center core tremendously

An expensive center? Wrong. One bad year where the rest of the team also seemed lost does not define a player's value. That great contact runs out well before cozens team friendly contract does. A random throw in prospect and a first doesn't help the Sabres at all.

Sure it’s a pipe dream. I’ll repost next year when BUF is in the same spot

The Buffalo deal isn’t happening. Neither side likely makes the move overall. Carlo’s contract should be viewed as an important part of our roster construction.

The Jersey deal is the same construct that we’ve been discussing with them for a while. My belief is they might value Stillman more than the Winnipeg third.

outside of buffalo fans don't think a sub 50 point center is special.
