NYR would do Trouba with $2.5M retained for a 2nd. Walman for Lindgren swap doesn't make sense for either side.

Walman is a bit cheaper, better puck mover and provides better offense. Lindgren is stronger defensively. It's basically a change up to mix things up a bit. More or less I want him to make our defense better defensively.

I'd be open to it but don't think the respective teams do it tbh

Drury says no thanks to that absurd trade offer.

NYR trade - I'd like to scrap the Lindgren and Walman swap, drop 500k retention from Trouba and make it a 3rd
I do really appreciate what you've done to the defensive part of our defence, Roy, Ed and Trouba make us substantially better, Lindgren probably helps as well but Walman can play his part if we add all those other guys.
I am against resigning Kane, but can admit if we improve our defence THIS much then he'd be good to have back.
CBJ trade - can't see them doing that and would like different options in net but would take it if they take the deal
Do you think Veleno gets dealt if Kasper looks ready?

Lindgren is younger and better than Walman. I know we have alot of depth coming up in that position but he can also slide down the line up. I could easily see that not being a part of the trade.
Veleno can play the wing and we likely won't know about Kasper until the start of the season. Personally I would leave him down there to start the season. I want to see him earn the 1C spot before he makes the jump. I'm also not opposed to him starting in Detroit. He just turned 20 this year so there is no rush. Ideally he shows a bit more offensive upside before being stuffed into a defensive third or fourth line roll.
