Yeah I'd make that move if I were the Habs. I think you could argue the value is even a little light though. Take a look at the value CHI paid the Isles to move up 2 spots recently. I think the Habs would probably need another 2nd instead of the 4th to be honest.

I'm in the camp that says start the re-tool for the Rangers. I would do this deal, but I think Drury would pass. Also, Toronto may not be on Kreider's good to go list.

Regardless of what Hronek’s value actually is, the sharks really should not be trading those assets.

Drury isn't trading Kreider and he certainly wouldn't be retaining salary, it's totally absurd. He is a bargain at his current cap hit.

I thought about doing that but didn't want to push it. If MTL added a second I'd be willing to add another mid round pick

A late 3rd + 4th + 6th is not worth a high 2nd

Durzi got the 37 OA pick which is basically very close to a late 1st

Thats where Liligren's value lies rn

Just being honest of what it would actually be worth. Not sure I'd want the Habs to do it but that would be the cost. the Athletics model seems a little light to me. Trade history shows a higher cost.
