The Lightning don't have much of a choice but to use him as a top 6 forward, do they? Unless they move one of Point/Johnson to the wing (which seems unlikely), the only other option is Kunitz. That's assuming Callahan comes back and takes on a top 6 role

Good question ... he's so close but i'm not sure ... he's either a just good enough top 6 forward, or a good 3rd liner.

I think Vladdy plays a super simple game that allows him to generate chemistry with good players really easily. Ok another team he's just a bits and pieces top 9 forward. With Tampa he's a top 6 just because he gels better than some of the alternatives.
