Isn't your defensive game and goaltending your biggest issues? You get young goaltender that can grow with your core who is more than capable of playing in the NHL along with a top 15 RHD in the league with a great young forward.

What is it lacking?

No, he’s closer to Toronto than Ottawa. I read somewhere he’d want to be close to home so that’d mean Toronto or Detroit if he was moved.

Oh okay, see I thought he was from somewhere near Ottawa. I didn't look to see where he was actually from (Windsor)

i mean defense absolutely, but not at the expense of tkachuk. Paying 9.5m combined for knight and korpisalo has absolute disaster potential for the sens too

See I think Knight is a lot better than people make him out to be. He played in the NHL as a teenager of course he is going to have some growing pains because he was never able to fully develop before being tossed in the lions den.

I think this year in the AHL probably really helped him and now he is ready for another push

Norris ain't holding that kind of value right now even though we'd need top 6 C.

I mean his long-term ability is not really in question imo, its that if the sens are trading tkachuk for win-now pieces (bad idea to begin with), is a combo of knight and korpi @ 9.5 million really the answer

Ekblad is very good but by no means great or elite. Lundell and Knight are borderline past being considered prospects and neither have really shown much at the NHL level the last two years.

Overall Ottawa would get a lot more expensive but I'm not convinced that they would be better.

So flyers give up their best asset, and take back a huge liability in exchange for…. *checks notes* nothing of substance… hmm cool

If you swap TK for Coots that trade makes sense, otherwise it’s literal insanity lol

You are clinically insane if you think the value is nearly close to a legit Brady trade, missing major pieces here. Knight has a lot less value than you think because of the off ice situation.
