in complete honesty i have no clue what chytil is worth, but i do like his fit in MIN and feel like he could be expendable from NY given not playing most of the year + their cap situation.

Personally I don’t think has any value and GMs wouldn’t touch him unless he plays a full season

Well at least Minnesota traded assets for a player who is barely one hit away from never being able to skate again

Chytil's injury this year would concern MIN to part with a top prospect. Maybe if he rebounds in 2024-25 NYR could demand this return. Drury probably wouldn't want to trade Chytil if that was the case but certainly a nice return and Lambos would make Lindgren expendable.

Earlier today Rags21 suggested that if Filip was not good to go, the NYR would place him on the LTIR to remove his CAP impact. I hadn't initially considered that (why I don't know), but he is right. Now Stanley_Cup_To_Manhattan makes a good point. If the NYR are looking to part ways with Lindgren (and I have seen a few articles in the last few days suggesting this), then this offer should be given serious consideration for the reasons stated

This isn't an offer, OP isn't a Wild fan.
