Description
A lot of my favorite draft choice trade scenarios all combined into one ACGM. Unrealistic, I know. Odds of any one happening are high so that makes all of them happening nearly impossible.

In the 2024 draft Chicago selects:
2. Levshunov 6. Catton 11. Yakemchuk 12. Sennecke 18. Hage

The only reason I don't think the Sabres would do that is because they need to try and leverage that pick into a top 6 forward. I could see them trading the 2025 first to move him though.

Or just keep him and have him score 30 goals again.

If it goes bad buy him out with 2 years left

That Flyers trade is just awful.

Why would Utah want Jones for $9.5M and give up a 1st when they can just go out in free agency and spend less for a better D? Also, I'm sorry but Jones isn't worth a 1st.

Why would Buffalo do this? They are technically below the cap floor right now and none of their RFAs are going to command a ton of money. Skinner more realistically is considered next summer when JJ Peterka, Bowen Byram, and Jack Quinn need new contracts.

The thing is, dumping $9M x 3 years costs the equivalent of a 6th overall pick. Technically 11 would be a discount. Who knows where BUF's 2025 1st will be. At the same time, 2025 should be a deeper draft and I don't think BUF will be much better than this year. So, maybe it's a gamble KD is willing to make.

Do I even need to comment about how dumb that Flyers trade is?

Rumor is that they are looking hard for a top 6 winger so Skinner will probably stay on the third line. I don't think he can score 30 getting 12-14 minutes a night like he did to finish the season.

I get that, I'm just saying I think getting a top six forward is more important to the Sabres then trading Skinner. His buy out is not that bad so that is an option as well. They could also retain half and move him.

Oh, right. We've had this conversation. Can't keep track of everyone I've talked to on here. haha. Yeah. There are possible options, if you can get him to waive.
