Pastrnak+RNH+Muzzin

Created by: Manfred
Team: 2017-18 Montreal Canadiens
Initial Creation Date: Aug. 2, 2017
Published: Aug. 2, 2017
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Another wet dream that won't happen. Bergevin's specialty is signing 4th trio players and 3rd pair Dmen.

Without a dought, there is no trades coming for Mtl.

By the way, EDM will only take Galchenyuk in return of RNH, so this is not happening but might bring ideas for trades.

You wouldn't have to retain 2 million. That's just crazy.

Uneven money trades are difficult to make from what I understand. So this is why I kept 2Mil$ but you're right.

10,151,665$ actually.

I know, but I would be so happy to make them spend 500K$ more than they are actually going to sign him for. Anything I could do to piss-off Boston makes me happy. BOS would have 3Mil$ left to complete their lineup (2 more forwards). Take Jagr out of the lineup and add 1Mil$ for Pastrnak. OOPS! 1.5Mil$ more than they plan to sign him. It would make me so happy to piss-off BOS.

Lets make a change in my lineup and give 9Mil$ to Pastrnak. Then BOS has to make a trade IOT match the offer and sign the last two forwards needed to complete their lineup.

you'd have to give boston two 1st rounders, a 2nd rounder and a 3rd rounder. since you signed him for over 5 years you take the total value of the contract ($49 million) and divide it by 5 to get $9.8 million, which corresponds to two firsts, a second and a third round pick.

also boston would match that offer

That's right, I just changed my offer sheet compensation. Originally I had 7 Mil$ for Pastrnak but changed it to 9 Mil$ IOT make it painfull for BOS to match.

I really hope they would match and have to trade someone IOT afford two more forwards since they would only have 1.15 Mil$ left after matching the offer. But mainly I would be so happy to make BOS pissed since they are probably going to sign him for 8 years at 6.5 or 6.75 Mil$. So making them spend 2+Mil$ extra would be such a joy to Mtl fans. Just like PHI fans felt when they gave no choice to NAS in signing Weber for a ridiculous contract years ago.

To me it make no sense to pay Pasternak or any Pastrami sandwich at 9 M a year . Pacciopheric vault more than that . This RNH vs GALLY+ SHAW is intriguing i wonder what edm fan base think .

I know, my original lineup was Pastrnak at 7 Mil$ but changed it for 9 Mil$ after someone's comment. These trades are never going to happen anyway. It is all for fun and wet Dreams. Mtl is doomed and won't make the playoffs next season. Everyone knows that.

At least, Bergevin is going to get fired.

With your current offer sheet at 7 years 9 millon AAV youd have to offer the bruins 4 first round picks. 7x9,000,000= 63,000,000/5 = 12.6 mill
Offer sheet 2017-18 Averaged Salary Draft Pick Compensation
$1,295,571 and below --No compensation
$1,295,572 to $1,962,986 --Third-round pick
$1,962,987 to $3,925,975 --Second-round pick
$3,925,976 to $5,888,960 --First- and third-round pick
$5,888,961 to $7,851,948 --First-, second-, and third-round pick
$7,851,949 to $9,814,935 --Two first-round picks and a second- and third-round pick
$9,814,936 and above --Four first-round picks

$9,814,936 and above --Four first-round picks

9 millions = 2x 1st round picks, a 2nd and a 3rd.
above 9,814,936$ = 4 1st round picks.
So if you look at your own chart above, you'll see that 9 Mil$ = 2x 1st round picks, a 2nd and a 3rd.

wrong again. when you offer sheet someone for over 5 years. 5 years will become the divider. 7x9,000,000= 63,000,000/5= 12.6 mill. Its simple stuff. Someone already tried explaining it to you earlier

I would offer sheet Draisatl and order a pastrami sandwich to play on the right side . But i know Jay Feaster would equal the offer for the sandwich .

Offer 9M to Draisaitl would be better than offer to Pastrnak. Oilers is in a huge cap issue and it's less probable a match offer for Draisaitl than for him.
