Haven't done this in awhile. Duchene To Chicago.

Created by: Mr_cap
Team: 2017-18 Chicago Blackhawks
Initial Creation Date: Aug. 2, 2017
Published: Aug. 2, 2017
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
The price for Duchene is slowly going down.

They get a potential top-4 dman in Forsling along with one of their best young forwards in Hayden. Throw in a 3rd, 6th, and a 7th which then should be enough to snag Duchene.

The other trades are for cap space.

Honestly though, Duchene's value is pretty confusing as is. So thoughts are welcome.

Colorado says no. The hawks are trading the 2 best players away in the washington trade, easy pass. Sgarbossa makes no sense either.

They most likely wont get a better package than that. 2 young studs plus picks for a skilled top-6 forward in his mid 20s should defiantely be enough.

Hawks trade a decent 4th liner for two more decent depth players for cap space.

The Sgarbossa trade is for if they need to call a player up on a cheap contract. It actually makes a lot of sense.

Zach Sill was an NHLer 3 years ago. He's a minor league plug now. Why would they trade Bouma if he can do the same thing Sill and Graovac can? They could definitely get a better deal for Duchene especially with retained salary. The hawks have plenty of tweeter guys that can play if need be. Sgarbossa isn't needed.

Like I said, the Bouma trade is for cap space. He's a decent player at best. Sill and Sgarbossa are depth players if need be, Graovac can fill Bouma's role.

No GM would be stupid enough to a deal to what Sakic is asking for. Well, sorry - maybe a couple like Garth Snow. But other than that, the above offer will get you your core pieces. Plus you get to stockpile your draft cupboard.

If you ask me, that's not gonna be enough for Duchene ... i mean, if you think it's enough i probably don't, lol. (just kidding Sticking Out Tongue)

Duchene could get 60+ points on a new team ... i don't think Chicago's the best team for Duchene anyway though ... Colorado could probably get a lot more from Pittsburgh, like Dumoulin+.
