Good squad , I don’t like the fact they are shopping Joseph especially if they only save 500k bringing in Eller. Maybe they want an experienced defensive minded center to mentor?
Extension for Ullmark or a one and done ??

have to think a major incentive for ullmark to waive in the first place would be a lucrative extension

Pens pass without a doubt. Eller is more valuable AND fills a need for the penguins

Middle 6 winger who’s younger vs bottom 6 centre. Not a tough choice lol

4th line winger vs middle 6 Center. Definitely not a tough choice for the pens that’s for certain

Joseph is absolutely not a 4th line winger lmao. No way is Eller is a middle 6 centre he can’t be 2C at any time

What’s your thoughts on Nils Lundqvist? I know Dallas isn’t 100% happy w him, don’t know if they’d trade him, but just thinking a young RHD might be an option for Sens. Maybe Lundqvist and Marchment? I don’t know…just an idea. I do like the Dellandrea/Marchment proposal though…big fans of both players. I still think Dellandrea can become a solid 3rd liner, at worst a good 4th.

weird because the stats paint a different picture. But that's okay! pens gladly keep what they have. Even if we pretended that both players provided the exact same quality the pens would still keep eller because he is a center and more valuable to them. Even if both teams miss the playoffs again it would be easier to trade eller at the TDL than Joseph

Find me a 4th liner that averages 0.486 point per game or better and plays a 2 way game and kills penalties as well and can play up and down the lineup

Then keep him 😂 . Pens will keep their cheap 2 way center than can move up and down the lineup, kill penalties, AND take face offs. Centers are more valuable than wingers . I’m surprised you don’t realize that
