Description
This post is made to illustrate my anger with the Capitals and what I hope their season looks like.

This will depict opening night roster. They will finish last in the league and will lose out in the draft lottery as well.

Also, Backstrom never plays another game.

As crazy as it sounds. I think the Pens would consider this. Ovy has lost more than a few steps but he knows how to post up and score on the PP.

…. Take on 2.5M in cap to upgrade from Eller to Ovi. They would do a lot more than consider that

They would take it in a heartbeat. That was kind of the point of this post.

Ov knows how to stand there and watch everyone else do the work.
There is no way that would be acceptable in PIT. There is no way they want that contract even 50% retained.
He's cooked and everyone knows it.

He’s putting up 40 goals on a line with Sid or Geno next year easy.

And you’d be crying watching him do it

    LOL no.
He can't even skate good enough to be put on Crosby's line. He's not going to accept a bum teammate who doesn't move.
As for him and Geno on the same line..... what you trying to form the slowest line in all of hockey?

If you want to hurt them don't give them Justin Holl from Detroit....saddle them with Andrew Copp's contract ($5.625M for 3 more years) for a total of 13 goals last season (which is up from 9 the season before)...
