Actually I think this is a pretty good attempt. If I was going to question anything it would be the signing of Barrie, with the signing of Brown I think you have covered the 3rd pairing RHD hole adequately. Barrie would take PP time away from younger guys who I think need those opportunities.

I personally am still on the fence about Guentzel but the contract you are proposing I think is in the right ballpark.

Good job!

If that's what it takes to sign Joshua, pass. His shooting percentage this season was crazy good. Like Jeannot's in his rookie year. Pass on Barrie too. Hawks will want a big, physical style RD to fill out their blue line - like Brown. And Hall will be in the top 6. Plug him in for Joshua on 2LW, so even more reason to pass on Joshua. But overall, pretty good effort!

I think Jake is a perfect fit for Bedard. He learned from Sid and now he’s the perfect veteran to teach Bedard. It isn’t easy to be a line mate with the really special players. It takes someone with not just a high skill level but someone who can think the game too. Jake worked on the deflection plays and the give and go’s with Sid and by the end it was more Jake setting up Sid. He really improved his playmaking and he would really be a good asset for putting pucks on Bedard’s stick and helping those goals pile up.
