The most valuable piece they are giving is Gabe Perrault, who ig going to Toronto.

The cap space is the return. Marner isnt getting a huge return. hes a regular season show pony

Lol OK smart ass, but kudos on the personal shot I guess?

There is no need for a 3 way here because it doesnt make sense. We send our biggest trade chip to NY and they send their best assets to Montreal (who just happens to be your team of course). Then we get a good dman from you (I'll give you that) and a nobody prospect that may never even make it and from NY a tiny little center prospect.

This is moot because I don't think he will waive anyway.

So why would another team want him then? If thats the case, the Leafs will just keep him right?
