Too low on Girgensons even though he doesn't put up points he is still good defensively. Nylander won't make the NHL and reinhart will play RW with Eichel

Girgensons, to me, is probably a 13th or 14th forward.

It's obvious you're not a Sabres fan
You just don't know the team that well

There is ZERO chance that Moulson will play in the top6
We didn't trade for Scandella to put him on the 3rd pair... he's likely to be paired with Ristolainen

Girgensons will get double that & play every night, moving up & down the lineup as needed
Pouliot will play in the top9
Deslauriers will be in the press box or in AHL
Although Larsson is listed here at LW (idk why),
he's actually a center

Also,
Trading a young developing defenseman for a late round pick does nothing for us
It just doesn't make any sense to do that

Yeah, i don't watch the Sabres a lot, but 2 things.

1) Deslauriers is an okay 3rd/4th liner ... he's not great offensively, but he's still a good player.
2) The Nelson trade is good for both because Buffalo's defence is really deep, so why not take the pick, and Edmonton gets a lower pairing defenseman to take Sekera's spot in the lineup, and also for not a big price.

Please never call deslauiers an okay 3rd or 4th liner ever again, he belongs in the minors or at the very least a 13th forward. Especially if you think girgensons is a depth player

Deslauriers struggled offensively this year but he's a good defensive player ... okay, maybe more of a 4th liner ... but there's nothing wrong with having him in the lineup.
