Those are terrible UFA signing. The $$$ and players. To answer your question, yes the Leafs win the" :Staley" Cup but won't even qualify for the Stanley Cup playoffs.
If you;re going of the Cup why trade Komarov for futures. I'd rather keep two NHLers....Bozak and JVR than one Tanve.

Explain to me why the Canucks want 2 rentals who will leave as a UFA in a year and a depth player for a good player.

There are lots you can do with 6M cap...that Iginla signing has no words to describe it, sorry bbones but thank goodness you are not Leafs GM...I prefer Komarov on one leg than paying a 40 yr old who struggled mighty last year 6M and play him on 3rd line.
