No way the Kings take on all that cap hit for Phanuef and Burrows....then no way would rebuilding (I presume) Avs would have any interest in Gaborik.

You're wrong compensation for a $4 million offer sheet would be a 1st+3rd round pick not a 2nd round pick that would be less $4 million like $3.95 million. We'll gladly accept a 1st+3rd for AA.

Dude? Ottawa doesn't own their 2018 2nd round pick, They traded that pick to the Rangers and now Detroit has the pick in the Brendan Smith trade. You can't deal something that you know longer own besides since it's a $4 million offer sheet the compensation is a 1st round pick+3rd round pick not a 2nd rounder it would've too be less then $4 million for it too be a 2nd rounder that you don't have.
