I dunno if the trade makes Buffalo better. Kane has a physical game that would be missed in Buffalo. I'd rather have Landeskog to play LW than Duschene. It's a lot to give up for 1 extra year of Duchene over Kane.

Pommer/Eichel/Reinhart
Duchene/ROR/Okposo
Pouliot/Larsson/Nylander

Colorado would not give up Duchene for what you offered. Kane is a great hockey player, but he is also a troublesome guy and can be a negative influence in the locker room. Seeing as Colorado, for lack of a better word, sucked last season, Kane would not help the team build morale. Secondly, Victor Antipin hasn't proven himself in the league yet and his value at this point would probably be equivalent to a 4th round pick, maybe a 3rd. In order to get Duchene, Buffalo would have to give up a 1st round pick, a player like Reinhart and probably Jake McCabe.

no way he is worth rienhart McCabe and a first. the only gm that believes that is sakic and that's why he hasn't been moved. Duchene is a nice player but he isn't worth a top four defenseman and a top 6 forward. and then a first rounder too? I wouldn't give you Rienhart straight up for Duchene

This is already a lot. A D prospect a LW with similar production, a center that has top 6 potential, and a pick, Duchene is good, but he's not a Marner or Pastrnak
