I like the RNH trade in general but am not sure about the salary retention. If there is no room for Jagr on the second line and the second power play unit I don't think it is worth adding him.

Just added the special teams, I see Jagr in Horny's spot on PP1. Firm believer in four scoring lines for most situations, see him as a Cullen-lite on the fourth line. For more physical games, sit him and ZAR in favor of Rowney/Reaves. As for RNH, think EDM knows they're probably going to have to retain for a 6 million dollar, 40 point player regardless of draft pedigree. Time is ticking with the McDavid contract hitting next year.
