I like this a lot I think they can get more for Greene though. They could possibly get a second and a third from a Cup bound team looking for a veteran presence on the back end and they most likely in any trade would have to retain salary like you did.

Greene would look good next to Weber
I would feel good as a fan sending him to a team who could compete.
Ideally it would be to his hometown, Detroit, but they are as bad, if not worse off than us.

Don't thinking the Devils have been tanking, been just bad. But if some of those first rounders can be good first rounders, maybe there is hope for a legit playoff run.

This is true, just not good as of late. Also not bad enough/lucky to get the Matthews, McDavids, Laine's of the world. S
Shero needs to spin some gold with what he has. Has somemiddling guys at LW that if moved qty for quality with picks might help. D needs major work now. If they don't get a high enough pick to get stud D maybe they trade it with +s

Edited the Greene trade, looks more reasonable
