When you're up with a new born baby all night you want to see what you can do. But yeah, I don't like my Pens lineup

Overall's good job. If noone is traded and brough in I could see Rowney given a chance to play on the 3rd and hopefully his play progresses when the season starts. Just think Sheary still plays with Crosby and it's perhaps Rust with Malkin and Hornqvist with Hagelin and Rowney. Sprong is just somwhere there with a chance on top9.

McKegg has got a decent NHL experience he was obviously was brought for and yes he could be a fit as a 4C with more success than the other centers in depth chart with maybe Wilson somehow tried as center before and then Bluegers being next option.

As for defenders I would like to see Maatta-Letang pairing to help Olli advance his play with the best available partner, then it's Dumoulin-Schultz as the most possibly stable pairing with strict duty differentiation and the bottom is like Cole-Hunwick as a projected shutdown pairing.

How can you say if it's accurate or not when it's August hello? If it's Oct 4th and you've just seen a game with STL than lucky you are but I personally see these lines being more accurate and having more sense than your words could have.

Without a time machine I assume the Pens arnt going to expose DP to waivers so that they can healthy scratch Sprong in October....

Also they are going to play Schultz on the 3rd pair, ok...

They aren't going to add a center, more unlikely than not...

They break up Sid and the Kids.... again, probably not

So ya, safely inaccurate

I would agree on Sid and Kids only issue. While I do not like the lines we have now as well as you and it could be a single star for this team going into the season I still think you're exaggerating in your response. Anyway let it be my own issue.

Pouliot and Sprong would have equal chances due to possible injuries and the fact that you can plug in forward easier than a def. In case you have no injuries well yeah Pouliot is on the team rather than Sprong who would be gaining experience and hopefully lots of points in A.

Actually Schultz was on the 3rd all season and the playoffs. I might be wrong but that pairing was third on account of appearing on the ice at least. And you know that Sullivan plays somewhat about equal TOI with #6 playing just 3mins less than #2.

GMJR said he could both trade for a center or go to the season without doing that with Sullivan 'Could do with what I have' on that. Besides I don't see this as the OP purporting to have a time-machine... He just made that lines as it'd be now. Fine job by me.

... If you think Schultz played 3rd pair all season and the playoffs I don't know what to tell you. Same for how waivers work, (Sprong exempt/ DP not) and the idea that a 20 yo player should be playing games in the AHL. Sprong is beginning his Development, DP trying to prove he isn't a bust at 23.

Schultz led the team in TOI for a good stretch of the season and played top four minutes thru the playoffs....

Before you jump back, look up some basic info. Why even bother defending this, even the poster said it's not a good post and was fooling around half asleep?

I don't insist on these lines being excellent. I've told you I don't like it. The OP's idea was to show them as they could have been as by now.

As for Schultz and your words about my looking better some info before jumping back I quite well remember the playoffs. Dumoulin-Hainsey, Maatta-Daley, Schultz-Cole. That is what it looked like as they were coming on the ice. And yes Sullivan prefers defenders to play somewhat equal TOI. If you wanted to say he played Schultz Top4 it's fair to say that but he played the all as top4 in the playoffs. Looks like I'm telling you that again. rolling eyes

Fair agree to agree maybe?, but the point stands that Sprong as 13F itself basically is 99% inaccurate as is, so my point stands.

But you do realize this guy did this for like every team in a row....?

That's what I mean in my OP moreso...

He did this for like 15 teams directly in a row.

It might be inaccurate to show Sprong as 13F. But I like that he shows him before ZAR and other forwards from A. It'd be better to have 24 here with 8 def and Pouliot here. We're all counting on him. Besides Pooh-Ruh is a beauty.

I didn't watch his other teams. In fact I rarely see other teams armchaired unless it's smth interesting in the title... I've seen there were lots of teams by him and I liked the overall approach and basically centers. I've posted it here in my first message. Not many Pitt fans mention McKegg on their teams. Only Cullen, Cullen, Cullen sad to say. Looks like Plan B becomes Plan A unless there's a trade.
