That amount (and quality) of players would land you Duchene. Why wouldn't you just trade for him instead? A guy who is younger and could play the wing if you wanted him to.

As a Red Wings fan, yes please. We are thin at C prospects and D is always useful. And draft picks this year? Where do I sign up? WPG can take care of the cap restructure

Why would Winnipeg do this? They have centres. To trade Stanley and a top 15 pick seems steep for the Jets who will likely finish out of the playoffs anyway.

this deal is so bad for the jets. Thats tons of assets to give up for an older player that could regress at anytime not to mention the cap problems it creates. I don't see any up side for the jets.
