The AA trade seems fair, but I don't think we'd be interested Scott Wilson. We signed Lance Bouma and Tommy Wingels to do what he does. Maybe somebody else. Although I don't really know who because everything is kind of set. Maybe Rust to replace Schmaltz on the 3rd line? He'd be moving up to line 2 to replace AA.

I hate to disagree, I think AA for Maatta straight up is reasonable maybe add a fifth pick. AA doesn't hit, block shots or win faceoffs and at 29 his point scoring is unlikely to improve.

AA's $4.5 mill cap hit for 4 years is going to be a dealbreaker. Pens are ultimately looking for a 1-2 year fix at 3C then hoping to fill the spot with someone cheap from their developmental system (i.e. ZAR). Having Anisimov on the books for that long is going to cause issues when Guentzel, Schultz, and Murray come up for contract again.

Anisimov doesn't play full season and plays on top 2 lines in CHI so his numbers are inflated. His contract is a big risk. Bonino would have been a better bet at a similar price. Just doesn't make sense to me.
