What kind of player do you think Tavares is? If you're the Islanders, are you gonna accept Kadri Komarov and a 2nd for Tavares lol

Admitting this not enough for Tavares. But Tavars and 66 points to Kadri 61 points last year. Is JT the star he was? And the Leafs don't have the cap to sign Tavares, and why would you want to sign a player who will be declining?

I agree partially with this, I think its important to note JT has been declining with his Point production, but what makes Kadri such an asset is his amazing contract. A 30 goal, two way centerman who gets under people's skin for $4.5 is a steal. Why give up that to pay JT 10M to do something similar
