I want you to give me your opinion on how good these players are or will be.

Generational

These are your options, assign each player below
with one of these options

For example

Mark Scheifele is: Elite. Will be: Franchise

Or

Those are just examples, I think this is a fun idea.

Hopefully I get some great, very in-depth opinions.

Can we define what "Franchise" even means? Is it a measure of talent or is it some kind of social standing with the club? Shane Doan was essentially a franchise player with the Coyotes, since he was the face of the team for many years, but as a measure of talent I wouldn't even call him elite. Are guys that look to be members of the team for many years to come considered franchise players? Laine and Scheifele project to be a fantastic duo for Winnipeg for years to come, so do they get that franchise distinction? Whereas Blake Wheeler, who is captain and has been with the team for a while, could also hold that distinction depending on your definition.

I think we've got a bunch on of NHL17 fans out there. In reality "franchise" is more about market ability more than actual skill. While 99% of the time they go hand in hand. It's not always the case.

You missed out on the deepest talent in the minors, the Providence Bruins. Best prospect pool in hockey on one team!!!!!

I mean, Philadelphia has the best prospect pool in the NHL, including juniors, overseas, and the AHL.

Boston has an underrated prospect pool, but are in no ways the best, even though you are contending that they are the best in the AHL

They beat the #1 and #2 seeds last year in the playoffs. And players that didn't play for Providence?.........Bjork, JFK, Senyshyn, Zboril, Lauzon. And they added the highest scorer in the AHL in Agostino. Then add in Bruin kids that made the jump 21 and under, Pastrnak, Carlo, McAvoy. Whoa.....that is a prospect pool to die for!!!! The young guys that did play for Providence and impressed: Heinen, DeBrusk. Problem is they are all so good that the Bruins won't be able to keep them all!!
