Reading into some stuff in the rumor mill, Schmidt might not be into playing for the knights. It is a big assumption on my part in saying this.

yes but why trade one of their better ones who has 2 years of team control for Read who has zero value to Vegas since he's a rental and a 3rd (and not even from this next year when it will likely be a higher 3rd).

Vegas is unlikely to trade Schmidt now, but if they do so it will be for quality prospects or picks, not spare parts.

huh? based on what?


pure speculation. He went to arbitration. only player this summer to do that, He also has an injury and won't report to camp yet. Read he won't let team doctors look at the injury. I am way ahead of anyone saying he might not want to be in Vegas. Just sound like a guy not too interested in playing for the Golden Knights, but I am usually wrong.
