Description

TNSE holds all the cards but Trouba is exactly what Sakic is hoping to get for Duchene.

Some will say that it is too much to pay for two years of Duchene then he will bolt off as a free agent. I think that once Duchene sees the organization from the inside he will want to extend.

With Scheifele, Wheeler, Laine, Ehlers and Little already in the top 6, the pressure will be off Duchene to carry the offensive load. A second line of Duchene, Wheeler and Little would be a nice luxury to have. Perreault and Dano can dish to sniper Connor on the third line and the Jet's third line from last year becomes their fourth.

Picked up Wideman on defence to fill hole created by Trouba's departure. Refs already hate the Jets so he will fit right in.

Actually it might be a fair, though I think Avs have to add. Don't worry about their UFA status, 2 years of Duchene and 3 years Trouba.

Well if you're talking about SOME Avs fans, the trade would be Trouba, Scheifele and a first pick. Sorta like two years of Doughty where the Leafs HAVE to include Nylander, Gardiner and a first.

I would agree, it should be the avs adding. It would work well for the jets as long as Myers holds together.

Myers truly appreciates what TNSE did for his family last year. I believe that he will be an inspired player this season.

It won't be a 3C as he will be a wing unless Little goes via FA and he would be a 2C. What would be best is for the Jets to add Perreault and get back Tyson Barrie as well. Forget about Wideman(unless its a PTO)

Unless he gets injured....But I do agree...typical Chipmans and the TNSE.

Except Trouba isn't the Jets 1RD, and wouldn't be on any playoff team. He may develop into one, but he isn't that today. Duchene is easily the Jets 2C.
