The BOE has taken a look at the Brendan Guhle deal, and it was given a trade rating of 4.9375 for Philadelphia and 1.0625 for Buffalo. After discussion, all 5 board members agreed the deal will need to be rationalized and looked at. At your earliest convenience, please stop by the messages to the BOE thread and state: why you think the deal is fair, what benefit you received from the deal and whether you believe it is revision worthy.

we're retaining half though, we're saving almost no cap space doing that. You said you'd likely do Weise and a 7th for a 6th. And it's okay if you changed your mind but why were you acting like he has value and now you're acting like i should give up something to get rid of him? If you want him, you have to give up something.

On February 6, both you and your trade partner were notified about a trade that under provisions as of January 22, the BOE ruled the trade unsatisfactory to the new standards. While it is nearly a month later, the BOE has internally decided that the trade will meet the new standards by Tuesday, March 6 at 11:00pm EST. Failure to comply to the new standard will result in the BOE following the next step under the aforementioned provisions.
