Outside the box idea, but I'd consider moving Kevin Labanc as a top 6 winger to you along with Justin Braun in a larger package deal possibly. Something along the lines of This:

Dallas Stars

Kevin Labanc
Justin Braun

San Jose Sharks

Riley Tufte OR Julius Honka
Jason Spezza

Benefits for you: Labanc is still on ELC for this year and next, and is already outproducing Spezza by a significant margin so it improves both your win now and long term capabilities. Braun gives you a legitimate 2nd pairing defenseman at a lower cap hit, and is on a 35 point pace this year. He also has just enough term to have a secure contract without being a long term liability. Taking Spezza, whos currently a 4th liner for the stars, off your books for this year and next allows you to be aggressive in free agency if desired/ open up cap space for other moves leading up to the deadline. Spooner is available for a 1st, if you feel you were missing the playoffs this season I'd take the 2019 which would give you time to put maneuver it into the 20+ area of the draft. lmk
