            I understand, but the balance he would add to your lineup with Phaneuf. Would make your top-4 pair unreal. Probably top4 in the league.
            In addition, Krug and Karlsson on a powerplay unit would be deadly.

            we're not looking for another 2nd pairing LHD, we're looking for an actual top pairing guy.

            I hear you guys r looking for a top pairing dman. Do you have any interest in Andy Greene. He is a top 4 dman. I had to send him to minors so that I stay under the salary cap, but otherwise I trust him alot. I can give him to you for cheap too.

            Likely not... he isn't a top pairing guy to us, so we aren't super interested in him... for comparison I think Rangers wants someone like a Hedman or a Mcdonagh or a Josi

            50% is a LOT of money to retain... Would need a substantial amount more to even consider any retention... like Ryan would likely be a 1st without any retention

            sorry, i was thinking we were talking about Claesson originally.
            I don't know, i'm only gonna trade him if i'm actually getting something i'm looking for. Picks aren't gonna get it done. I'd consider it if i was getting a LW or a goalie.
