Filppula for Brassard as a base? Clears out space so you have money to resign Turris/Stone next year and gives me a center for an extra year while Patrick/Barzal grow.

            What would you add?

It really depends on the other offers i get, and i'll probably be moving Claesson instead anyway. A 2nd and a 3rd for Formenton and a prospect?

2nd and Martin for Formenton and a 5th (brings my asking down on Martin to try and bridge the gap in a deal)

            I'd probably want a 2nd and a 3rd i the deal, even if i add to Formenton. How about Formenton and a 5th for a 2nd and a 3rd?

what would you what added? Nothing big. It's like swapping identical players .. Plus, the NTC on Brassard means I wouldn't be able to trade him again...

Let's figure something out for this month. Gives us 24hrs and 30 min

i'm not doing this this month, maybe later in the season.

what would you what added? Nothing big. It's like swapping identical players .. Plus, the NTC on Brassard means I wouldn't be able to trade him again...

Brassard doesn't have a full NTC, does he? And Brassard is much more valuable than Filppula. I'd want a lot added.

            You inquired on Foligno.

Do you want him this month? If so, I will lift my embargo to negotiate. But only if you want to have him now, in November.

No he means later in the season, as usual...

This is why people have a problem with you raif. Don't waste ppls time to talk trades unless you're ready to make one.

I'm sorry, I really am to have to say this but, It may be time to find a new GM for Ottawa, one that participates in the game. What you are doing can be done in the forums

Edit: raif please consider other ppls time and enjoyment of this game when talking to them. Just be as up front as possible. I know you've said many times you want to wait on deals. But then you pick the negotiations right back up and it confuses people. Look at cap or Rico, they have set plans of who/what they plan on doing by month. Maybe try that, gives ppl an idea of what trades you're ready to talk about. Just a thought

Well I don't want to give you a 3rd on top of the 2nd... Martin + 2nd for Formenton

Borowiecki holds no value to me... Martin + 2nd for Formenton is equal to me in value to a 2nd and 3rd... I'm giving you above value than what he is worth

I'm as frustrated as the rest of you that RAIF doesn't make deals for the sake of making deals. It's frustrating to deal with someone that only plays hard ball... but I hate to break it to everyone involved in this game that the reason why RAIF is playing hard ball is because he wants to play the game as realistically as possible. We shouldn't call for his removal for playing hard ball. It only hurts him in the rankings that he plays hard ball. I'm a huge Sens fan and when I heard that RAIF was going to be the Sens GM, I swore under my breath because I knew he was going to screw up the team in some way... Well I'm disappointed in myself for thinking that. He has analyzed the teams play and only wants to make deals on what he sees fit for his team. We have GMs in this game that will trade the roster + the future + picks for mediocre 4th line players. Those GMs should be on the chopping block and not be taken advantage of the various players of the game, myself included. So I don't understand why half the people in this game have a personal vendetta against RAIF. We should thank him for creating the game, not come knocking at his door with pitchforks and torches calling for his removal. I'm sorry that I thought poorly of you to begin the game RAIF, and I'm sorry that a vast majority of the people on this site treat you as their own personal punching bag. I'm sick and tired of the attitude people have on this site. We need more people like RAIF, the kind, considerate, hard ball playing GMs. We don't need the league full of people that are out to fleece or dumb enough to be fleeced. Sorry for ranting on your page... We as a community here on Capfriendly should be more respectful and appreciative of one another.

Jmac, if he was so kind and considerate, he wouldn't bait us into negotiations and then say "I'm not interested; maybe in a little while." That's not playing hardball; that is intentionally wasting our time.

When ppl think they might have a deal with you, that changes the other deals they make moving forward. So one missed deal can turn into 2 or 3.

Does Palmieri + for Stone interest you? I'd be willing to add picks/prospects, and it makes sense to move him now since he'll be in line for a big pay day next season.

I really like Stone's potential so for now i'm gonna have to say no. As it says in my team explanation, Stone is on my list of guys that are not being moved unless the offer is crazy good. So you could make an offer, but the + would have to be huge.

I see Brassard as a very good all-round player, and definitely a top 6 centre. I'm not interested in moving him unless i get a lot more than Filppula.

i'm not trading for him now, but maybe a deadline deal.

well people are making trade offers, i have to answer them.

but i'm looking for earlier picks. If i can't get what i want for Claesson and nobody else gives me a 2nd and a 3rd in a deal for Formenton i might take this deal, but otherwise, probably not.

Maybe in november if the Sens start to struggle. What do you want?

i'm not just supposed to ignore trade offers though.

i'll talk to you on your page.

Let's wait to see if the Sens struggle in November. If they do, hit me up. (Though in order to stop struggling, all they need to do is to stop losing shootouts.)

            alright, sounds good.

What would be the right deal for Logan Brown?

It would probably have to be in a deal for Muzzin or Slavin.
