Alrighty, I've given up on Dahlin. But now you need Wolanin just a little bit less. Accordingly, how about this? That is, if you still want Brandon Duhaime.

            Minnesota Wild
            Christian Wolanin
Conditional 2019 4th round pick (OTT)

            Ottawa Senators
            Brandon Duhaime (rights)
            2018 2nd round pick (ANA)

Conditions: If Wolanin plays in 40 or fewer games next season, you send me your 2019 4th. If he plays in 41 or more games, you do not need to send me the pick.

@rangersandislesfan you owe @jmac490 a gift basket. Remember when we were negotiating for Ekhlom, and you almost sent me your first round pick in the deal, but Jmac convinced you otherwise? I certainly do, and the salt is reeeeeaaaaaaaallllllyyy kicking in right about now.

Could we start with Christian Jaros as a base.

I'd need a big add. He's only 3 years younger than Murphy and is not close to the same level player.

Miguel Fiddler, could you tell me a bit about him?

LW age 22 drafted 143 overall in round 5. Injured this past year, got 10 points in 34 games last season for Ohio State with 26 PIMS and +1.

Not really interested in this at the moment. Wolanin is pretty good. Maybe if we got a bit more though. Not really interested in Duhaime anymore.

@rangersandislesfan you owe jmac490 a gift basket. Remember when we were negotiating for Ekhlom, and you almost sent me your first round pick in the deal, but Jmac convinced you otherwise? I certainly do, and the salt is reeeeeaaaaaaaallllllyyy kicking in right about now.

            I don't ever remember almost moving my 2018 1st.

I'd need a big add. He's only 3 years younger than Murphy and is not close to the same level player.

LW age 22 drafted 143 overall in round 5. Injured this past year, got 10 points in 34 games last season for Ohio State with 26 PIMS and +1.

Yeah, no, sorry, we'd need more than that. Phaneuf is a pretty good defenseman. At 50% retained he has decent value.

            price for Duclair

Pretty high. We might move him with something else for a LW upgrade but we're not super interested in moving him. He's not untouchable, but it'll be hard to find a deal that works.

            How about this, then?

            Minnesota Wild
            Christian Wolanin

            Ottawa Senators
            Ryan Murphy
            2018 2nd round pick (ANA)
Something else. Don't jack up the price too high though. And whatever you choose to do, I'll add in Adam Gilmour and Chase Lang for no extra charge.

For your team, Wolanin won't be playing at the NHL level next year anyway because of Dahlin and the fact that he's the only one who's waiver exempt. This d core would be a pretty nice improvement over what you have now.

            Dahlin-Murphy
            Claesson-Ceci

well to be fair... that may have changed the rankings slightly... but Svech/Zadina + #11 pick would have been real nice

Okie. Let me know when you know whether you want to do this or not. (We can still do a handshake agreement prior to the draft.)

Cool; seems like your AGM likes it too. It is in your favor, so consider it a make-up for ripping you off in the Formenton trade long ago.

If we can get a prospect better than Sandstrom and maybe a 2019 or 2018 2nd instead of a 2020 2nd that might work.
